全國九合一選舉正進行登記作業，由於選舉種類為歷年來最多、登記參選的人數更是大爆炸，光屏東縣到今為止，已有1164人完成登記，中央選委會的電腦系統甚至因為流量太大，一度出現「卡卡」，可見各地參選的盛況。

根據屏東縣選委會統計，今天登記的縣議員參選人有9人、鄉鎮市長13 人、代表67人、村里長86人，累計到昨天為止，全縣已有1164人登記參選年底的公職人員選舉。
