台灣網球一哥盧彥勳雖然在美網男單首輪早早出局，但休息一天後，立刻重新在男雙首輪登場，盧彥勳搭檔捷克法斯利(J.Vesely)組合對上艾柏登(M.Ebden，澳洲)／卡洛維奇(I.Karlovic，克羅埃西亞)的重砲組合，其中卡洛維奇還保有官方史上發球最快達251公里時速紀錄保持人，盧彥勳先在首盤搶七以1比7落後下，此後兩盤再沒被破發，靠著後兩盤各1次破發下，成功以2個4比6逆轉獲勝晉32強。(詹健全／綜合報導)
