法鼓山雲集寺22日以溫馨、環保的方式，舉辦一場嘉南地區聯合祝壽活動，116位70歲以上的長者在家屬陪同下，參加這場別開生面的祝壽儀典。在「觀世音菩薩」聖號中，全場近300人一起燃燈供佛，歡慶生日。

活動一開始，由法師帶領大眾舉行祈福延壽法會，法鼓山臺南分院監院果謙法師勉勵長者們「多念佛，少念子孫」。法鼓山方丈和尚果東法師則透過視訊祝壽星們生日快樂。

果東法師向大眾開示，法鼓山舉辦聯合祝壽活動，期盼讓壽星們感受真誠及善的力量，並表示人生圓滿有4，就是福、祿、壽、喜，也是佛法的慈悲與智慧，鼓勵長者們「用心，不煩心」，常保笑容、廣結善緣，多拜佛、多念經，讓心不起煩惱，再創人生的價值。

「感恩奉茶」將活動導入感動時刻，邀請晚輩們長跪，以恭敬、報恩的心奉上一杯清茶給長者們，氣氛溫馨感人。
