台南市今天再度召開狂犬病防疫會議，市長賴清德表示，台灣在50年前就可以使狂犬病絕跡，今日流行病學更加進步，市府有信心可以逐漸控制狂犬病疫情，民眾不需過度擔心。

台南市狂犬病確診病例共有南化2例、六甲1例、楠西1例，共計4例，皆為鼬獾，目前動保處正全面進行山區流浪動物的狂犬疫苗注射。
