iPad Air重量大幅減輕的祕密是…

蘋果於2013年11月1日開始銷售新一代平板電腦「iPad Air」。其特點是與上一代iPad相比重量大幅減輕，實現了窄邊框。Fomalhaut Technology Solutions公司的柏尾南壯第一時間拿到該產品進行了拆解，日經技術在線請來柏尾向大家介紹一下iPad Air是如何實現輕量化的。

iPad Air最大的亮點應該就是薄型輕量化（圖1），尤其是重量，只有469g（Wi-Fi機型），比2012年春季和冬季上市的第三代、第四代iPad的652g（Wi-Fi機型）輕了183g（表1），正好介於第三、第四代iPad和iPad mini（312g）中間。

iPad在此之前的機型基本未大幅減輕過重量，2010年開始銷售的第一代iPad為680g，2011年推出的iPad 2為608g，減重約70g，而之後的第三代和第四代又增加到了652g。

想方設法實現輕量化

為探索實現輕量化的因素，我們對iPad Air進行拆解，測量了內部部件的重量（表2）。
