設高等於X公分,
長方體表面積=六個面的面積總和=2個長x寬的面積+2個長x高的面積+ 2個寬x高的面積= 2個(18公分x15公分)的面+2個(18公分x X公分的高)的面+ 2個 (15公分x X 公分的高)
所以是:
1332平方公分=2 (18 cm x 15 cm)+ 2 (18 cm x X cm)+ 2 ( 15 cm x X cm)
=540 平方公分 + 36X 平方公分 + 30X平方公分
=540 平方公分 + 66X 平方公分

1332 平方公分 - 540 平方公分 = 66X 平方公分

792 平方公分 = 66X 平方公分

12 公分= X

所以高等於12公分.
