「小弟弟」沒腳麻　夢中會勃起

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】許多男性一早起來發現，自己的「小弟弟」跟著太陽一起「升旗」，在科學家眼裡，這是健康男性會出現的現象，甚至夢中勃起的時間長度會出乎一般人的意料。

加拿大網站《The Rock》在10月份的報導指出，這種「早上的勃起」乃是一連串夜間陰莖勃起(nocturnal penile tumescene)的行為殘留。科學家甚至確定，一般13~79歲男人，每晚生殖器都會挺立90分鐘，也就是20%的睡眠時間，男性的「小弟弟」會站得相當挺直。科學家也計算過，在大腦的睡眠循環中，每85分鐘「小弟弟」會自行站立一次，平均每次延續25分鐘。

美國學者萊米勒(Justin Lehmiller)在去年於《心理學與人類性別》(The Psychology of Human Sexuality)雜誌中提到，在睡眠週期中，進入和離開快速動眼期(rapid eye movement)時，體內荷爾蒙和神經生理上的變化就會導致勃起，跟有沒有做春夢無關。而早上看到「小弟弟」勃起，在生物學上有著重要的意義，代表身體有規律地輸入大量充氧血到陰莖，進而避免勃起障礙，是身體健康的象徵。
