蘋果公司推出大螢幕新手機iPhone 6造成轟動後，對手南韓消費電子業巨擘三星電子公司今天出招反擊，宣布市場熱烈期待的新款Note 4「平板手機」將於10月17日推出。

三星（Samsung）獲推崇是融合平板電腦與智慧型手機特色的首家大廠，公司表示，將自明天開始接受Note 4的訂單，正是對手蘋果公司（Apple）新一代手機iPhone 6開賣的日子。

美國三星通訊（Samsung TelecommunicationsAmerica）總裁李宗錫（Gregory Lee）發布聲明說：「三星以Galaxy Note開創大螢幕智慧手機的領域，我們已發展到第四代，而別家公司才剛要進入這個領域。」

Note 4號稱擁有5.7吋高解析度螢幕。三星承諾，若在10月16日前訂購Note 4，將可以任何智慧型手機折價200美元，一般認為這項動作是直接針對蘋果而來。

根據路透社報導，蘋果新機iPhone 6與iPhone 6Plus開放預購首日即創下400萬支新高紀錄，是蘋果兩年前推出iPhone 5首日預購量200萬支的兩倍，換言之，許多果粉可能要等到10月才能拿到新機。
