MLB／ Arrieta飆9K無失分 小熊險勝大都會

2013年季中交易被金鶯送到小熊的Jake Arrieta這一站面對大都會，先發7局飆出9K沒有丟分，率軍終場以2比1險勝。

Arrieta來到小熊一路從牛棚轉戰先發，此役投98球、其中61球好球，僅被敲2支安打，丟出2次四壞球保送，在1比0時領先退場，不過大都會隨即在8局下攻下1分，追平比數，Arrieta只好跟勝投說再見，這一戰無關勝敗，戰績6勝4敗，防禦率2.77。

「今天的感覺算不錯吧，丟的球都有達到期望。」Arrieta在賽後表示。

前8局打完，兩隊戰平，9局上，小熊當家游擊手Starlin Castro對大都會終結者Jenrry Mejia，轟出本季第13轟，助小熊率先打破僵局，並奠定勝基。

在國聯中區墊底的小熊拿下近10場比賽第4勝，戰績53勝70敗，大都會吞下近10場比賽第5敗，戰績59勝66敗，位居國聯東區第4。
