一名擁有成大碩士學歷的科技男，自爆在交友網站「愛情公寓」結識一名女子，不料交往3個月後，對方騙他花78萬元買結婚包套後便人間蒸發，他還爆料女子當時還找來曾上聯誼節目的「乾姊」吳佩雯作陪。無獨有偶的是，吳佩雯先前才被逮，加上還有「土耳其李宗瑞」的男子王凱傑，2人都是從聯誼節目出來，民眾質是否疑電視台對於素人個資的把關審查不夠嚴謹，才會造成這樣的情況發生？

曾經參加過台視聯誼節目《王子的約會》、來自土耳其的王凱傑，99年來台就讀淡江大學，因為帥氣外表且養兔子、會做菜的好男人形象，讓她頗受女性歡迎。但他被指控涉嫌偷拍29名女子、另遭2女指控性侵、被形容是「洋版李宗瑞」，今年4月台北地院認定他對女大生性侵未遂，判處1年10個月徒刑，服刑期滿後驅逐出境。

當時節目聲明提到，錄影前製作單位皆對來賓之基本資料、工作職業善盡詢問，甚至要求簽訂節目錄製同意書，明文內容包含：「立書人同意約束自身之行為，絕不作任何影響節目聲譽、違反法律及善良風俗之行為。」
