高雄發生嚴重氣爆事件，棒球界再展現愛心，台東綺麗珊瑚2日表示8日在高雄舉辦的國際珠寶展，將捐出營業所得5%至10%。

義大犀牛母企業義联集團日前宣布將捐出6000萬元，幫助高雄氣爆事件的受災戶度過難關；台灣珠寶工會理事長洪明麗，也是綺麗珊瑚棒球隊母公司「綺麗珊瑚」的董事長）2日針對高雄氣爆事件發起捐款說明。

此次高雄市前鎮區深夜發生嚴重氣爆事件，台灣區珠寶工會、參展珠寶商以及方國強設計師，深深為罹難者和傷者祈福，並且將在2014年8月8日高雄國際珠寶展，將珠寶營業所得5%-10% 金額捐出，同時，進行高檔珠寶、禮服競標拍賣會，拍賣所得全數捐給高雄市政府社會局，希望能協助居民盡速重建家園。
