立委徐少萍今天上午表示，由於國民黨黃景泰與民進黨林右昌的民調差距越來越大，讓黨內同志都相當憂心，但她不贊成找與基隆沒有淵源的「空降」人馬，並不是阿貓、阿狗都可來選，要有勝選的把握，並與基隆有淵源的人才可以。

徐少萍說，建議黨中央趕快重新提名或徵召，要加快腳步，並呼籲被提名或徵召的人要「犧牲小我，完成大我」，為基隆保住基隆市長。她並指兒子林沛祥參加過黨內初選，如果黨要徵召林沛祥，他會接受並參選。
