吳宗憲主持華視周六新節目《寶島縱貫線》，華視４日為幫節目造勢，發布他在網路「演藝圈十大好爸爸」票選名單中，成為網友心中第一名好爸爸，贏過亞軍林志穎和季軍劉德華。他笑說：「實在不敢當，可能孩子數量多吧！」此票選已持續大半年，他的票數才剛破千，且勝過林、劉兩人，圈內人大呼不可思議。

有４個小孩的他感嘆：「生的容易，養的難；養的、教的容易，陪的更難！孩子成長只有一次，陪孩子成長是最重要的！」

《寶島縱貫線》是外景節目，楊繡惠、王彩樺等人被整得很慘，吳卻不願發女兒Sandy上通告，直呼「她不適合做這種粗活工作。」節目今晚８點華視播出。
