談反核遊行　環保署長：跟隨阿扁穩健減核

全國反核大遊行今下午登場，上任前就遭反核團體質疑是擁核派的新任環保署長魏國彥上午說，在尚未擔任公職前，他是以學者身分表達意見，擔任公職後就沒有個人立場，只有環保署的立場，而該署對於核能議題的態度，是秉持2002年前總統陳水扁任內制定的《環境基本法》第23條，要落實穩健減核。

魏國彥說，對於反核遊行他沒有任何看法，但環保署會依《環境基本法》逐步達成非核家園目標，並會加強核能安全管制、輻射防護、放射性物料管理及環境輻射偵測，以保民眾生活避免輻射危害。（洪敏隆／台北報導）
