英國奧斯卡／凱特布蘭琪奪影后　《地心引力》大贏家

有「英國奧斯卡」之稱的「英國影藝學院電影獎」（BAFTA Awards），於倫敦時間16日晚間9點舉行頒獎典禮，珊卓布拉克（Sandra Bullock）主演的《地心引力》拿下「最佳英國電影」、「最佳導演」、「最佳攝影」等6項大獎，最為風光，而呼聲最高的《自由之心》奪下「最佳影片」大獎。

《地心引力》以入圍最佳影片、最佳女主角、最佳導演等11獎之姿，最後風光拿下6項獎，「最佳影片」大獎由布萊德彼特監製主演的《自由之心》拿下，頒獎前《自由之心》呼聲就很高，英國《鏡報》舉辦網路民調，有38％的讀者認為《自由之心》會拿下「最佳影片」。

英國演員奇維托艾吉佛（Chiwetel Ejiofor）以《自由之心》拿下「最佳男主角」，他在片中飾演一位住在紐約的自由黑人，因被綁架後被販賣為奴，卻始終沒有忘記渴望自由的心，上台領獎時表示，對於有機會演出《自由之心》，感到十分光榮。

而「最佳女主角」由《藍色茉莉》的凱特布蘭琪拿下，她上台領奬致詞時，向已故好友菲利普西摩霍夫曼致意，「老友，這是獻給你的，你這個混帳。但願你會以我為傲。」
