聯盟消息人士透露，籃網隊做了兩筆交易，第一筆把前鋒Tornike Shengelia換到公牛，換回控衛Marquis Teague，第二筆則用後衛Tyshawn Taylor、加上現金，跟鵜鶘換一個未來選秀權。

雖然這兩筆交易，還得再花個幾天才能搞定，不過當事人之一Shengelia，已經迫不及待在推特向新東家輸誠：「感謝每個機會，期待加入公牛帝國。」

籃網隊換回來的Teague，今年20歲，是2012年選秀會第一輪的後衛，本季為公牛出賽19場，得2.4分，命中率0.242，其他大半時間都在發展聯盟。

「我沒得到很多的上場機會，」Teague說，「而且機會來臨時，我也沒拿出該有的表現，不過我不會擔心過去，而會放眼未來。」

公牛總教練Tom Thibodeau則說，Teague現在的表現，已經比剛進聯盟時好得多。
