11月29日發行的加拿大日報《La Presse》給與BigBang成員G-DRAGON高度評價。

《La Presse》介紹G-DRAGON曾與梅西埃麗奧特、賈斯丁比伯等國際巨星一起合作，並在從中構築G-DRAGON獨有的風格。還提及了突顯個人魅力的第2張正規專輯《COUP D'ETAT》的具體製作過程。

《La Presse》將G-DRAGON喻為「完美K-POP STAR」，還對G-DRAGON所具備的音樂、舞蹈、外貌等全部評價為「具有魅力，還很獨特」，並稱這些都是身為藝人能維持高人氣的秘訣。

加拿大魁北克K-POP論壇相關人士Julie在採訪中表示：「我在2010年紐約演唱會第一次見到了G-DRAGON，他的英語非常流暢，由於他是外向型的，所以他是最有可能在海外大獲成功的韓國歌手。”
