早些日子以前AUDI期望能在2020年達到年銷售240萬輛的規模，所以傳出想要開發更多銷售車型的計劃。例如像是Q6、Q8等這些已經在開發流程之內的休旅車，以及欲借助VW Up！底盤平台衍生而來的迷你都會車款，都是熱門的討論話題。現在，終於原廠確認這款旗下最小的都會車款A0，將在2015年登場。
