天雨路基塌　集集線車埕段交通中斷24小時

【高堂堯／南投報導】台鐵小火車集集線「水里－車埕」間路基，今天中午12點39分發生下陷事故，地點在自彰化二水站起東向29公里200至400公尺處，導致小火車暫時無法通車。

台鐵指出，嘉義工務段於該處施作鋼樑橋改建箱涵工程，因連續下雨、土石鬆軟，導致原鋼梁橋台下陷約15公分，水里至車埕站間交通被迫中斷。
 
台鐵表示，現場已派員進行搶修作業，預估明天（9日）中午12點前可搶修完畢。集集線在事故現場搶修完成前，列車將行駛至水里站就折返；水里至車埕站間，台鐵台中運務段已洽請地方公路客運配合加開班車疏運。
