狂犬病疫情升溫 台東半數鄉鎮淪陷

狂犬病疫情升溫，台東縣確染狂犬病的陽性案例累積到十五件，全縣十六個鄉鎮，有八個鄉鎮淪陷為疫區，台東縣動物防疫所持續進行狂犬病疫苗注射工作，並呼籲民眾不要棄養犬貓，以免造成防疫漏洞。

台東縣從傳出鼬獾感染狂犬病毒後，防疫網立即從東海岸的東河、成功、大武等地，開始辦理犬貓注射的工作，目前已經累計注射犬貓達到一萬三千多頭；而隨著疫情擴散，民眾的防治意識也提高，累計通報的動物件數，除了犬貓外，還包括鼬獾、錢鼠、雞、梅花鹿等共八十二件，其中有十五件是陽性，除了有一例是錢鼠外，其他十四例都是鼬獾，包括台東市、卑南鄉、東河鄉、成功鎮、關山鎮等，有八個鄉鎮成為疫區。

台東縣動物防疫所表示，今天有海端鄉民眾送交松鼠一隻，臨床上出現神經症狀，已將檢體送驗；動防所並呼籲民眾不要棄養犬貓，流浪貓狗愈來愈多，將會造成防疫網漏洞。（資料照：吳鳳雪）
