幼兒墜樓危險 專家吁採取措施預防

【大紀元2013年07月21日訊】 星期三，卑詩一名三歲幼兒從二樓窗口跌下，被送至卑詩兒童醫院。本週初，Maple Ridge一位兩歲幼兒從高處摔下，不治身亡。
　　
據新聞1130報導，兒童健康及安全協會（Children』s Health and Safety Association）的Andy Brisebois表示，如果家中有年幼的孩子，要將家具放在遠離窗戶的地方。如果需要開窗，安上一個鎖，讓窗戶只能打開一條縫。如果覺得還不放心，可在窗戶上安裝護桿。
　　
他表示護桿看上去不太美觀，「但是你要知道，孩子們會爬上爬下。他們很好奇，想看看外面，想看看下面都有甚麼。這就是慘劇發生的原因。帶陽台的也一樣。」
　　
Brisebois建議說，「如果你的小孩剛學走路，或是能做一些以前不會做的事，那就是該採取這些預防措施的時候了。」
