【林巧雁／台北報導】國泰金今晚公布9月稅後純益23億元，1~9月稅後純益267億元，EPS為2.32元。

子公司國泰世華銀行9月稅後純益14.1億元，1~9月稅後純益117.6億元。子公司國壽9月稅前盈餘6億元，稅後純益8億元，前9月稅後大賺157億元。國壽副總林昭廷說，稅後金額較稅前高是因為投資的股票股息免稅，前幾個月國壽表現都不錯，國壽獲利也創近5年新高紀錄。
 
林昭廷說，儘管台幣升值1%，但因實施外匯準備金新制，國壽避險成本控制得宜，避險策略更加彈性，投資避險變得更聰明了。9月還增提外匯變動特別準備金0.2億。

鐵路集集支線車埕段隧道前箱涵8日下午發現下陷，台鐵緊急封閉暫停水里至車埕段火車通行，動員施工單位漏夜搶修加固，預計下午1一時可以完成復建恢復通車。

台灣鐵路管理局路線科長黃宗欣說，下陷的路段位在去年蘇拉颱風時受損的箱涵，去年那個箱涵被洪水沖毀緊急搶通並以鋼軌椿固定，恢復火車通行，鐵路局今年編列預算進行復建，預計年底完工，全線的交通即可更穩更安全。

箱涵復建工程進行至8日下午3時發現下陷，緊急通知封閉漏夜搶修，火車暫時只走到水里火車站，預計順利的話下午1時可恢復通車。
