【綜合報導】埃及近日政局動盪不安，有許多支持者不滿前總統莫西（Mohammed Morsi）遭軍方罷黜，聚集在開羅市中心抗議，但今日稍早有消息傳出，軍政府已經派出軍隊進行「掃蕩」，目前更傳出已有120人死亡，但預料死亡人數還會往上攀升。

有民眾指出，現場宛如「屠城」，甚至有汽油彈直接丟進一間診所裡。另根據美國CNN報導，現在軍政府正進行第一階段40分鐘的掃蕩。英國BBC報導，現場不斷有催淚瓦斯的投擲，而軍方的直升機不斷在空中盤旋。

外電報導，英國商人海伍德的家屬對海伍德遭殺害一事，向前中共重慶市委書記薄熙來的妻子薄谷開來尋求人民幣3000萬到5000萬元賠償。

薄谷開來因殺害海伍德（Neil Heywood），去年被中國大陸法院判處死緩。

路透社引述接近海伍德家人的消息人士說，海伍德的中國籍遺孀王露露一直在要求薄谷開來就海伍德被殺一事，賠償她及兩個孩子。

報導說，王露露和兩個孩子仍應住在北京。

曾代理薄谷開來的律師李小林對路透社說，海伍德的家人尋求3000萬元到5000萬元（約新台幣1.5億元至2.5億元）的賠償。

李小林表示，賠償談判始自去年，目前仍在進行，尚未達成任何協議。薄谷開來本人並沒有錢。

李小林並稱，海伍德家屬並未向薄熙來索取賠償，因為薄谷開來一案並未提及薄熙來。

報導引述英國駐北京使館人員說，對於王露露索賠事宜缺乏進展一事，使館已向大陸當局轉達關注。

除了遺孀王露露，海伍德的母親安．海伍德（Ann Heywood）最近也打破沉默，批評大陸當局對受害家屬的安全保障與善後賠償沒有實際作為，呼籲大陸領導人展現決心，結束她與家人的惡夢。

【綜合報導】安徽一個縣政府興建了一座豪華氣派的辦公大樓，不過整幢大樓一塊醒目的招牌也沒有，也沒有掛上「縣政府」等大字，當地部份民眾甚至不知道這就是縣政府的辦公大樓。

當地官員透露，這棟大樓是政府兩年前以「商務中心」的名義興建的，由於擔心被民眾舉報，縣政府搬進去至今不敢掛牌。

中國學者表示，不少地方政府為建新的辦公大樓，經常想方設法，以「科研樓」、「老幹部活動中心」等名義興建，以繞過上級政府的審批。

國軍因陸軍542旅下士洪仲丘死亡案形象受損，542旅部連上士范佐憲與士官長陳以人，因違規將洪仲丘送到禁閉室，士官遭到各界空前責難。國防部為紀念八二三砲戰55周年，上午對外推薦將在本月上演的「鋼鐵的八二三」音樂劇，還特別以劇中以一位老士官「老韓」與台籍義務役士兵相處融洽劇情，爭取曝光。

國防部上午利用例行記者會推介這齣舞台劇，飾演老士官「老韓」的是資深演員陸一龍，士兵與妻子則由王柏森與羅美玲等演員擔任，現場當場來一段即時秀，開場就以士官與士兵親切對話開場，並以「打開心內的窗」等本土閩南語歌曲悠揚起舞。王柏森相當入戲，當場流下淚來。所有演員還合唱國旗歌。
