（中央社瓜地馬拉市20日綜合外電報導）瓜地馬拉政府表示，參謀總長奧蒂茲（Rudy Ortiz）與另外4名軍官今天搭乘直升機時發生墜機意外，他們5人全數罹難。

直升機墜毀在維維特南戈省（Huehuetenango）山區，此處正是毒梟活動的地方。

國防部長羅培茲（Manuel Lopez）說，奧蒂茲等人當時正在執行例行視察任務。
