法國交通部鑑於馬來西亞航空班機可能遭飛彈擊落，要求國內航空公司避開烏克蘭空域，形同擴大烏克蘭一帶的禁飛區域。

這架失事的馬航班機原訂從荷蘭阿姆斯特丹飛往馬來西亞吉隆坡，卻在烏克蘭東部邊境墜毀，機上人員和乘客可能全數罹難。

由於失事班機可能是被飛彈擊落，法國交通部長古維利耶（Frederic Cuvillier）要求法國的航空公司在事故原因釐清前，避開烏克蘭空域，並指示民航局（DGAC）採取必要預防措施。

法國民航總署已通知法國航空、地中海航空、Transavia等航空公司，除了目的地是烏克蘭首都基輔機場的班機外，都要避開飛經烏克蘭空域。

在馬航事故發生前，烏克蘭一帶只有克里米亞地區屬於禁飛區域。

親俄的克里米亞地區於3月舉辦公投，宣告歸屬俄羅斯，但投票結果不被烏克蘭政府及歐洲聯盟承認；烏克蘭東部的分離主義份子至今仍與政府軍交火。(中央社)
