王建民清晨1點將在客場登板，進行他本季第13場先發，對手是紅襪3A帕圖克紅襪隊，建仔將挑戰個人本季第7勝，同時也要挑戰最近的5連勝。

建仔狀況漸入佳境，揮別季初的不穩定，最近連續5場先發都交出優質先發內容，且自5月4日後，最近6場先發是拿下4勝0敗。

此役路易維爾蝙蝠隊打線多了生力軍，大聯盟紅人一壘手強棒瓦托(Joey Votto)展開復健賽，此役擔任先發2棒一壘手，球隊打擊火力更上一層。（記者楊逸民╱綜合報導）
