Paul此役三分球9投8中，光是第1節就進了5球，全場14投12中，攻下32分，瘋狂表現讓《ESPN》幽默地稱之為「Point God」（原為Point Guard，控球後衛）。

「當有人火力全開到這種地步的時候，你需要做的只有盡可能離他遠一點，同時替他將火線延續下去。」快艇前鋒Blake Griffin說。

1分的天才，需要99分的努力，Paul賽後透露自己手感發燙的原因，「我提早到場，多練了很多投籃，我認為那真的很有幫助。」他說。

讓Paul投到福至心靈，雷霆防守型後衛Thabo Sefolosha替自己與隊友喊冤，「我認為那些三分球，特別是開局的進球，我們的人都有守到。」他說。
