流行天后瑪丹娜繼「溫莎公爵的情人」後，再度鎖定浪漫愛情片，將執導半自傳體羅曼史小說「艾妲：一個愛的故事」，作者是瑞貝卡沃克。

瑞貝卡沃克是「紫色姊妹花」作者愛麗絲沃克的女兒，艾妲描述一個混血美國女人在肯亞遇到一位穆斯林男子的故事。
