　　菲律賓風災生還者今天(25日)在一片泥濘中度過耶誕節，大雨迫使許多災民待在脆弱的避難空間內，多少打壞歡慶耶誕的興致。

　　不過，在中部重災區獨魯萬市(Tacloban)，孩子們穿上塑膠雨衣，在下不停的大雨中，敲門玩起不給糖就搗蛋的遊戲，並向路人討糖果、硬幣和其他耶誕禮物。

　　強颱海燕在菲律賓奪走超過6,100條人命，近2,000人失蹤，其中許多來自獨魯萬市及鄰近城鎮。這是菲國史上最致命的風災。

　　菲律賓中部各島嶼約有440萬人失去家園，現在暫居援助機構提供的帳篷，或自行以殘破住家的殘骸瓦礫和倒塌樹木所建成的簡陋小屋。
