諸羅山杯少棒／迷你小學千秋國小 擠進8強

全校僅有五十九名學生的南投市千秋國小少棒隊，今天在諸羅山杯少棒賽中，對上日本的IBA大宮隊，IBA大宮隊以二比○領先到第五局，六局下千秋國小打下三分，以三比二逆轉勝，淘汰來自日本的勁旅，千秋國小也擠進前八強。

來自南投山城的迷你小學的少棒隊，能打進前八強，讓大會人員都很訝異。
