英國廣播公司（BBC）16日報導，美國麻州的哈佛大學接獲「未經證實的報告」，指校園內四棟大樓有爆裂物，校方已將人員撤離那些大樓。

但BBC引述哈佛大學推文說，並無爆裂物相關報告，也無跡象顯示有炸彈被放在該校校園中。

據說哈佛校警及地方警局人員都出現在校園。目前是哈佛的期末考期間，據傳校方取消了原訂在那四棟大樓舉行的考試。
