Sony終於要發售的最新的次世代遊戲機PS4，而他們也對這款產品未來的銷售量表現相當有信心！Sony表示，他們將可以達到分析師預測今年底前銷售量達300萬的目標，Sony美國電腦娛樂部分總裁Jack Tretton表示，Sony已經為下個月的耶誕節購物季準備足了存夠的庫存量，並預計賣到明年可賣出500萬台PS4。

Tretton說，“這將是一場馬拉松而不是短跑，但能有一個好的開始總是一件好事，現在我們已經解除了阻礙，我們對此非常非常的有信心。” Tretton主要是在暗示PS4將不會遇到前代PS3曾面臨的供貨短缺問題，PS4將於11月15日在美國市場發售，歐洲市場則要等到29日。

上個月， Robert W.Baird & Co.的分析師Colin Sebastian曾預測Sony今年PS4銷售量將能達到300萬，Tretton也表示，自己對於分析師的評估感到非常開心。
