印度女性 罹患乳癌年齡下降

根據《印度時報》報導，印度女性罹患乳癌的年齡層，有日益下降的趨勢。印度腫瘤學家高皮納斯指出，10年前印度女性產生乳癌的年齡，多落在45至55歲之間，目前已下修到35至45歲之間，「我甚至曾經遇到好幾名18歲左右的患者。」

印度女性罹患乳癌不只年齡下降，人數也持續增加當中。知名醫學期刊《刺胳針》去年曾有研究預測，到2020年時，70%的癌症患者都將分布於開發中國家，世界人口數排名第2的印度自然是名列其中。而根據印度國家醫學研究委員會的調查，10年來印度女性罹患乳癌的人數增加了1.3倍。

部分學者認為，印度快速的「都市化」，包括晚婚、少子化、少餵母乳、肥胖等「都會女性」普遍的現象，是該國乳癌日益嚴重的原因之一。而日前《彭博社》曾有報導指出，印度傳統某些不正確的觀念，例如女性不願意討論自己的生理變化，甚至普遍「諱疾忌醫」，使該國罹患乳癌的情形更加惡化。
