RBA獲澳財政部注資88億澳元 填補儲備基金缺口

澳洲財長Joe Hockey將向澳洲央行(RBA)日漸枯竭的儲備基金注資88億澳元(85億美元)，增加其處理再度走強貨幣的靈活性。

澳洲財長Joe Hockey將向澳洲央行(RBA)日漸枯竭的儲備基金注資88億澳元(85億美元)，增加其處理再度走強貨幣的靈活性。

Hockey今(23)日在1份聲明中表示，此項注資將令RBA的主要資本緩衝餘額占風險資產比重達到15%的水準，此水準也是RBA理事會認為將足夠讓其擁有很強的財務狀況，而目前的水準則僅為3.8%。

Hockey並說：「注資無疑令RBA在金融市場波動加劇的環境內，能夠持續執行核心貨幣政策及外匯功能。」

澳元的持續強勢已造成RBA的資本緩衝餘額大大減少。

RBA行長Glenn Stevens曾對Hockey的前任Wayne Swan提出呼籲，盼其別收取2012年6月為止財年的股利，以令央行重建資金，但因當時政府欲保持預算收支平衡，Swan仍舊向RBA拿走5億澳元股利。

儲備基金規模在Stevens於2月22日向國會報告時為19億澳元，而Hockey今日聲明則顯示有25億澳元。

自8月30日起，澳元已升值9%，表現居10國集團貨幣之亞，僅次於紐元，主要係因信心指標反彈，加上預期美國聯準會(Fed)將推遲縮減計劃。

Hockey今日亦指出，注資RBA將影響到2013-14財年的潛在現金餘額。
