穿戴科技夯 Google出手買HMD專利

鴻海 (2317-TW) 長期布局專利技術，近來歡欣收割，Google 出手向鴻海購買頭戴式顯示器 HMD (Head Mounted Display) 研發專利，未來 Google 眼鏡上或許可見到鴻海的影子。

鴻海此次出售的 HMD 專利技術，主要包括電腦生成圖像與虛擬影像疊合，目前多應用於航空界戰術或地面顯示器、工程與科學設計應用、遊戲影音設備及訓練和仿真設施等領域。

不過，鴻海與 Google 雙方對此交易簽有保密協定，因此包括交易金額、專利年限、簽約時間等相關內容細節一律不對外公布。

目前鴻海已在全球申請超過 5 萬件專利，今年截至目前為止核准的專利數也已經超過了 5000 件，專利技術成為鴻海一大資產。
