作為全球最大黃金交易中心的倫敦存有大批實體黃金。

麥格理銀行（Macquarie）周一（19日）指出，今年上半年從英國出口至瑞士的黃金激增，暗示從黃金 ETF 流出的實體黃金在轉往亞洲市場前，先經過了位在瑞士的黃金精煉廠。

該行在報告中指出， 5 月份英國出口至瑞士的黃金就有 240 公噸，上半年總計更高達 797 公噸；相較去年整年英國僅出口 92 公噸黃金至瑞士。

英國沒有黃金礦脈，因此麥格理推估這大批實體黃金源自於 ETF 擔保，多數時候存在倫敦的金庫裡頭；據悉，包括英國央行在內的倫敦銀行黃金儲量高達 1 萬噸。

瑞士是全球最大黃金精煉中心，麥格理估計當地精煉業者將英國進口的金塊，冶鍊成不同規格的金條、金幣等，再轉售給中、印等國的終端消費者。

今年第 2 季黃金 ETF 爆發前所未見的贖回潮，世界黃金協會統計顯示 4 – 6月黃金 ETF 共流出 402.2 公噸黃金。
