「臺灣礁點‧東沙環礁特展」海報

由海洋國家公園管理處（以下 簡稱海管處）與國立臺灣博物館（以下簡稱臺博館）主辦合辦、中央研究院生物多樣性中心、台灣珊瑚礁學會協辦之臺灣「礁」點‧東沙環礁特展，將於臺博館展出 至102年9月1日止，展示內容有「龍王指環」、「海洋寶藏」、「守護海龍宮」與互動學習區四大主軸，介紹東沙環礁的地理位置、海洋環境、美麗的海洋生物 資源與永續保育方針，期望能夠讓參觀民眾更深入了解臺灣周圍的海洋生態，主動親近並共同維護海洋環境，使臺灣豐富的海洋資源能夠永續利用。

東沙環礁國家公園為我國第一 座以海洋資源保育、復育及長期生態監測研究為主要目標的「海洋型國家公園」，距離高雄240海里（約450公里），涵蓋面積廣達35萬餘公頃，珊瑚環礁生 態孕育了豐富的海洋生物相貌，生物資源多樣性極高，堪稱海洋的熱帶雨林，尤其東沙島周圍潟湖有全國最大的海草床，目前紀錄包括有單脈二藥草、圓葉水絲草、 鋸齒葉水絲草、水韭菜、鐮葉叢草、泰來草和卵葉鹽草等7種海草，除提供海洋生物生存與撫育下一代的庇護場所，更具有吸收二氧化碳等減碳功能，對地球與人類 生存具有極大的重要性，是值得我們引以為傲且亟待保育的寶庫。

展場中特闢有親子互動專區， 陳列《藍海綠洲－東沙海洋篇》、 《寶貝東沙－潮間帶軟體動物篇》、《波光綠茵－東沙海草床》、《環遊東沙－石塘歷險繪本》等電子書，並有「探索東沙」、「東沙探秘」、「東沙的海草」、 「珊瑚的城堡」等影片播映，展出內容非常豐富，每天上午10時30分及下午3時並有志工進行定時導覽，歡迎有興趣民眾前往參觀。

海管處表示，為讓民眾深入認 識海洋、進而親近、愛護海洋，透過認識東沙與本特展多樣的展示形式，連結國中、小學自然與科學相關學科的校外教學和大眾親子學習與自學，增進民眾對於海洋 與東沙環礁之認識，並喚起民眾的海洋生態保育意識。臺博館於2月起辦理一系列「海洋環境教育推廣」活動，內容有：為幼稚園大班至國小3年級的親子，每月舉 辦2場次的「海洋狂想曲‧歡樂派對」，為國小三年級～國中學員舉辦「大廚香吉士的祕密－2013海洋教育冬令營」，另為全國幼稚園－高中職各級學校教師辦 理「臺灣礁點－東沙環礁特展教師研習營」，相關最新活動訊息請上臺博館網站www.ntm.gov.tw或本處 http://marine.cpami.gov.tw網站參閱。

臺博館位於臺北市襄陽路2號、228和平公園內，開放時間為週二至週日上午9時30分至下午5時，國定假日及連續假期則照常開館（農曆除夕暨大年初一休館）。
