【連欣儀／綜合外電報導】有鑒於銷售不振、股價疲軟，為思考能夠提升公司價值與規模的選擇方案，黑莓公司（BlackBerry）發布聲明指出，董事會已成立1個特別委員會。市場分析師認為，此舉為至今黑莓公司恐不會繼續獨立經營最強烈的暗示。
 
特別委員會主席戴特爾斯（Timothy Dattels）說：「有鑒於我們所持有的科技重要性，以及不斷發展的產業與競爭情勢，我們相信現今是探索策略選擇方案的良好時機。」黑莓公司指出，合資事業、結盟或賣掉公司等都可以是選項。
