【綜合報導】號稱「前線中的前線」的金門大膽、二膽島，在金門縣政府及行政院強力施壓下，確定自明年6月起，島上200名駐軍將全面撤離，改由警政署及海巡署40名警力駐管，做為觀光用途。

據今天出刊的《時報周刊》報導，六十多年來，大、二膽島原屬金門防衛指揮部的烈嶼指揮部管轄，全盛時期，大膽島駐軍達一個營，二膽島一個連，大約六百餘人。如今，大膽島仍歸烈嶼指揮部管轄，但兵力只有一連；二膽島更只有一個陸軍排，剩不到兩百人。金門縣長李沃土向行政院提出開放大、二膽島嶼發展觀光的構想，國防部態度保留，主要是認為兩島上還有200名駐軍，萬一無人駐守，一旦對岸有所蠢動，將形同值驅台灣門戶。今年二月，行政院政務委員林政則與李沃土密談，行政院同意大、二膽島卸下戰甲，交由金門縣府管理，做為觀光用途。

國防部表示，會依據政府政策辦理相關事宜，但也表示，金門縣政府應該訂定「不分階段，一次接管」的計畫，由警政或海巡單位負責治安和守備任務，不能為了吸引觀光客，在島上保留駐軍。但為了確保防區安全，在戰時仍然應該由國軍接管，執行守備任務。
