藝人周杰倫於九月初首次公開表明信仰耶穌，讓許多人深感驚訝。媽媽葉惠美、好友劉畊宏及教會牧師顧其芸都為周杰倫禱告多年，對此都感到欣慰。周杰倫還特別做了一首新歌〈Jesus Fashion〉，收錄在教會敬拜的專輯裡。

「對藝人而言，要公開自己的信仰很不容易，因為別人會拿更大的放大鏡來檢視你的行為，但是杰倫能這樣做，我很感動。」周杰倫所屬的新生命小組教會的牧師顧其芸受訪時說，從認識周杰倫開始，就覺得他是個很勇於嘗試、突破自我的人，在信仰耶穌的事情上，也很認真。

周杰倫的媽媽葉惠美，過去接受媒體訪問時，曾說，「希望杰倫不要迷失。」並且每天為他禱告，而好友劉畊宏不僅是周杰倫進入娛樂圈的伯樂，也是帶領他信耶穌的啟蒙老師，劉畊宏在10年前就常帶周杰倫到教會參加聚會，還經常為他禱告。目前兩人還合夥經營公司，曾拍攝「天台」一片。

為周杰倫施洗的顧其芸說，劉畊宏是慢慢和周杰倫交朋友，建立彼此互信的關係，進而一起討論生活和信仰的問題，相互關懷，用「生命影響生命」，隨著時間累積，周杰倫就信耶穌了。

「剛來到教會聚會時，就常常被詩歌感動，發現音樂有療癒人心的功效。」周杰倫表示，這次教會要出《Jesus Fashion》的專輯時，他一口就答應要製作〈Jesus Fashion〉這首主打歌，對此他也感到很開心。

「為上帝寫歌對我而言是很大的挑戰，而且很不容易，因為不止世界上的人在聽，連上帝都在聽。」周杰倫說，音樂可以帶領更多人明白上帝創造天地的計畫，他希望《Jesus Fashion》的精神，能一直被傳唱下去，治癒人心。

「耶穌時尚是最流行的信仰、最時尚的敬拜，我們一起瘋耶穌。」是周杰倫創作〈Jesus Fashion〉的心聲。讓耶穌成為「主」流文化。
