棒壘本來可以在2020年奧運上壘得分，但最後卻是一敗塗地！

棒壘項目雖全力反撲，但仍不敵角力項目強大運作，特別是俄國總統普亭超過大半年時間都投入護航下，最終於昨晚國際奧會會員投票2020年東京奧運新增項目中，角力以49票，在第一輪就直接過半數大獲全勝，棒壘獲24票、壁球則獲22票，兩項等於是慘敗。

依國際奧會的規劃，奧運於2020年起產生變革，限定為28大項，其中25大項為核心項目，另外3項為增加的臨時項目，採用「25+3」方式。每屆奧運結束隔一年，就會進行項目檢討，每個新增項目將可維持兩屆。

因此，國際奧會針對項目，今年做了許多大動作，首先2月針對倫敦奧運所舉辦的26大項中，選定25項做為核心項目，成為後來各屆奧運必定辦理的項目。然而意外的就是奧運傳統的角力項目，居然被踢出25核心大項之外。

但國際奧會給了角力保有起死回生的機會，與其他7個候選2020年奧運項目包括棒壘、壁球、空手道等項來競爭，共計8個項目備選下，於今年5月先刪除5項，決定了角力、棒壘、壁球三項，進入這次最後由全體國際奧會委員來票選。

其實，原本棒壘合併為一項後，在原先備選7個項目，就是呼聲最高的一項，如果就7項擇一，棒壘入奧機會相當高。但今年5月執委會決議，雖把角力踢出25核心大項，但同時也讓角力加入2020年備選新增項目中，結果棒壘就敗在這一步上。

由於角力是奧運傳統項目 (自首屆奧運就有)，再加上角力為歐洲所重視的項目，俄國總統全力投入總會全力改革外，聯合美國、日本放開歧見，共同協商全力改革下，因此能獲得青睞，繼續留在奧運。

然而角力僅是保有2020及2024兩年的奧運項目資格，以後還是要再做檢討。至於棒壘項目此次入奧不成，主要也是受到角力項目，影響力較大所致，這也是棒壘主要敗因。

【大紀元2013年09月08日訊】（大紀元記者林麗霞法國報導）9月4日，法國兩名資深飛行員Gérard Feldzer 和Pierre Chabert乘坐電氣球，飛行2小時23分，成功地降落在對岸的一塊英國農民的小麥地上，雖然已成熟的莊稼被壓壞了一點，但農莊主依然熱情地與他們一起喝香檳，慶祝這次不尋常的穿越英吉利海峽的飛行。

電氣球與燃氣的熱氣球的不同之處是靠電力驅動飛行，相對更環保。這兩位飛行員所用的氣球屬於400～800立方米級別，主機配電池和兩個螺旋漿作驅動。他們早在2011年曾嚐試過穿越英吉利海峽，但因為天氣不好的原因最終放棄了。

在準備飛行的前一天，即9月3日，交通部長居維利耶（Frédéric Cuvillier）專程看望了兩位「機長」。4日早上7點30分左右，在距離英國最近的Gris-Nez海岬，氣球準備就緒開始起飛，可是，事不湊巧，隨行安全保護的船發生了故障，不能跟隨，加上海峽上空霧氣很大，對他們來說，是一次真正的考驗。

飛越成功後，Gérard Feldzer 和Pierre Chabert在接受法國電視3台採訪時說，當他們終於到達英國時，開始看見海灘了，天空也明朗起來了，那時才鬆了一口氣。當地的居民剛剛起床用過早餐呢，突見一個大氣球從天而降，不由感到非常新奇。Gérard Feldzer還說，他馬上給交通部長發了個短訊，居維利耶部長當時正在開部長會議，收到成功飛越的消息後，他把短訊裡的照片跟其他部長一起分享了。

Gérard Feldzer 和Pierre Chabert下一步的探險計劃是，於2015年飛越地中海海峽，2017年飛越大西洋。
