隨著美國各大電視網開始為新一季戲劇造勢，推特希望把握機會，藉其即時線上討論的功能炒熱話題，賺進更多收入。

推特的「標籤」功能可追蹤當前熱門趨勢，已是電視台常見的行銷工具，不過電視網多半沒付費。

鑒於臉書也有打造即時通訊中心的雄心，成軍七年的推特正試圖利用網站影響力打造商業模式，而吸引其他公司付費使用推特服務將是重心之一。

最近幾個月，推特推出更複雜的行銷工具，拉攏電視網和廣告主。其中一個重點廣告產品名為Amplify，讓推特和電視網與其他媒體業者一起賣廣告。電視網可在推特上即時發布影片，廣告收入由推特和電視業者瓜分。

初期合作對象向包括A&E Networks、BBC美國和ESPN。21世紀福斯旗下的福斯體育台，也搶先和推特簽約，但目前仍未使用Amplify打廣告。

另據金融時報報導，推特正在官網上招募大中華地區業務負責人，尋求與當地的體育、娛樂名人和電視台合作，增加推特在台灣、中國和香港的能見度，並開拓美國市場以外的財源。

不過，預料推特將面臨重重挑戰，包括如何因應中國審查網路言論，以及如何在新浪微博和騰訊微博等類似服務夾擊中突破重圍。

儘管難關不少，推特選擇進軍大中華區，透露拓展海外版圖的雄心。過去短短六個月，推特已在澳洲、法國、荷蘭新設辦公室，也進駐義大利。

推特本月稍早提交保密文件給美國證管會（SEC），準備辦理首次公開發行股票（IPO），紐約郵報報導，推特可能於11月28日感恩節前掛牌上市。推特在文件中並未公開廣告營收。市場研究公司eMarketer估計，推特明年的全球廣告營收將逼近10億美元，高於今年的5.83億美元。

【李銘宏／台北報導】1名19歲吳姓男子，今天凌晨1時許，駕駛1部休旅車從台北市林森南路地下道往羅斯福路出口時，疑似車速過快，車輛高速衝出地下道，撞上當時正在地下道口停等紅燈的三部機車，三部機車像保齡球瓶般，全被撞倒在地，造成吳姓等三名機車騎士手腳及身上多處擦傷送醫，所幸沒有生命危險。

警方表示，休旅車吳姓駕駛駕駛並無酒精反應，他自稱不熟附近路況才會肇事，但從現場狀況看來，休旅車的車速亦不低，警方將調閱附近監視器釐清事故發生原因。

【綜合報導】日本今年夏天最熱門的電視劇《半澤直樹》，最後果然「百倍奉還」，而許多日本民眾也希望電視台「加緊奉還」，製作該劇的電視台TBS就指出，光是在昨天一天，就收到上千封「請願書」。

《半》劇在前天播畢，但隔天電視台就收到上千封信件，內容多為民眾希望《半澤直樹》能拍續集，或者是翻拍成電影。不過製作該片的相關人員回應，目前並未有拍攝續集或翻拍電影的計畫。
