（軍聞社記者陳映竹特稿）今天是國父孫中山先生誕辰148週年的紀念日，也是中華文化復興節，每年的這一天，國人都會向他表達無限的崇敬與追思，緬懷和感念國父創建「中華民國」，締造今日「自由、平等、博愛」民主社會的偉大功績。

　國父孫中山先生，名文，號逸仙，廣東省香山縣人，出生農家的他，對滿清末年的民生疾苦有深刻體認，早年曾前往夏威夷檀香山求學，並先後於廣州與香港習醫，接觸西方教育，激發國父產生民主自由的思想，當他得知腐敗的清廷陸續與列強簽訂喪權辱國的不平等條約後，即由立志「行醫救人」的目標，昇華並轉化為「革命救國」的志業；因在日本宣傳革命時，以「中山樵」自稱，後國人習稱「中山先生」。

　光緒廿年，國父於香港成立「興中會」，以「驅除韃虜，恢復中華，創立合眾政府」為誓言，開始革命救國大業，並於同年發起「廣州起義」，雖因事跡外漏，宣告失敗，但革命之勢已成燎原之火，不僅無法遏止，反而吸引更多愛國志士，前仆後繼，加入革命的行列。

光緒卅一年改組成立同盟會，並正式提出「民族、民權、民生」三大主義，作為建國理想，歷經十次起義失敗，終於在清宣統三年、西元一九一一年十月十日武昌義舉終告成功，建立亞洲第一個民主共和國－中華民國。

　同年十一月十日，各省代表選舉孫中山先生為臨時政府大總統後，國父首先組織國家最高民意機關－臨時參議院，制定「中華民國臨時約法」，作為國家基本大法。

民國元年二月清帝溥儀退位，國父為應南北議和的要求，主動向參議院辭職，並舉薦袁世凱接任大總統，但袁世凱竟違背民國建立初衷，國父於是展開討袁護法行動，以期維護民國命脈長存，直到他病危前仍心心念念國事的安危。

　國父首倡國民革命，創建中華民國，開亞洲民主政治之先河，因此被尊稱為中華民國國父，在領導革命四十年間，曾三次來到臺灣，更在此成立革命組織分會，將民主自由的思想扎根於寶島臺灣，在歷次推翻滿清的革命志業中，都有臺灣人民出錢出力的英勇事蹟。

民國建立後，革命黨員自始至終對臺灣同胞投以大量的關懷，臺籍志士也發揮了高度的民族精神，有許多人參加中華革命黨的行列，為抗日復土而奮鬥。

　國父終身以「博愛」及「天下為公」為理念，他手創三民主義及五權憲法，著作建國大綱與建國方略，為國家發展奠定目標，對中華民國的建立及在政治、社會與經濟等各方面的長期發展，影響深遠。

　多年來，中華民國在臺澎金馬地區，締造舉世矚目的「經濟奇蹟」，也完成了世人推崇的民主改革，不論是民國八十五年三月首次經人民直接選舉第九任總統、副總統，抑或是在民國八十九、九十七年平和進行了西方民主國家所謂「政黨輪替」的結果，均明確顯示中華民國政治發展不僅具體實現了國父「主權在民」的理想，更是華人世界的典範。

　回顧國父一生為國為民，時時刻刻以國家大計為念，他領導革命，以身犯險，終其一生為了國家大業奔忙，宣揚三民主義，創立憲政體系，奠定國家發展建設穩定基礎，就連臨終時都仍心心念念「革命尚未成功、同志仍須努力」，至死不忘喚起民眾，結合同志，為民主憲政奮鬥，使國家達到真正的自由平等。

國軍官兵在緬懷國父畢生為中華民國犧牲奉獻的至高情操，更要傳承歷史的使命，效法國父犧牲奮鬥精神，貫徹「恪遵憲法，效忠國家，愛護人民」立場，戮力戰訓本務，矢志捍衛民主憲政，建構「固若磐石」的國防力量，成為國家安全和穩定發展的堅實後盾。
