最近忙碌於宣傳新上映的電影【小時代】，對自我要求極高的郭采潔坦言當初在接演戲中千金小姐的角色時有點擔心，由於這部電影是由內地極為暢銷的小說及漫畫改編而成，想要打破這些角色已經深植人心的明確形象真的不容易，她覺得自己的氣焰不夠，無法完整詮釋出這個角色想帶給大家的感覺。

但或許是她個性中的某些特性或潛力被發掘出來，不僅為自己帶來了超水準的演出，也和戲中的其他幾位女主角成為姊妹淘；郭采潔說，相較於愛情的可以投射，友誼則更難演出那種感覺，但她們四人卻相當有默契的從定裝照開始就一拍即合，將友誼從生活延伸到戲中，也讓整部電影看來更真實、更有感覺。

郭采潔非常喜愛攝影，不過她也笑說自己並不懂所謂的專業角度，她只是很單純的希望可以將不一樣的文字和影像呈現在大家面前，所以每一張她分享的照片都會經過特別設計，想透過畫面去訴說無法用文字表達的故事。郭采潔覺得大家現在都習慣用手機拍照和分享，但其實經由相機所紀錄下來的樣貌還是有其不可取代性，她很喜歡Samsung NX2000的輕薄機身、操作直覺方便的觸控螢幕以及智慧模式功能，本身具備的高畫質讓照片即使放大也能清晰不失真。此外，NX2000還能夠針對各種環境變換不同的鏡頭進行拍攝來呈現出最好的效果，而它的Auto Share功能可以直接將照片同步到手機裡或即時分享，這對於郭采潔而言真的相當便利又實用。

忙完電影宣傳後的郭采潔又要準備開拍新的電影，新專輯也在籌備中，忙碌的她希望有機會能夠去冰島走走，「我喜歡冷的地方，因為一部紀錄片讓我看到冰島的美，很想去看看它的音樂祭和那片廣闊的大草原。」
