【林志青╱台北報導】全台民眾注意！本周五下午如果聽到警報聲音，切莫驚慌！警政署民防防情指揮控制所今天上午召開記者會，公佈為期4年的「更新中央遙控警報系統中程個案計畫」成果，同時公告本周五下午2時將進行長達1分半鐘的警報試放，屆時全台1429座警報台同步進行警報試放。
 
民防所表示，警報台方圓30公尺內，音量可達110分貝；1公尺內，音量則有120分貝。1429座警報台有9成9的比例位在派出所頂樓，請附近住戶不要被嚇著了。
